If you are trying to arrange accommodation abroad, do not part with any money atall before you have seen a property. Do not accept documents sent by e-mail as proof of ownership. Remember: 'No bricks, no money.'There is a centuries-old method of fraud called 'confidence-trickster' and it is fairly easy if you are looking on the internet to fall foul of this technique when you are looking for accommodation abroad.
On the internet, confidence tricksters try to establish a 'relationship' with you by exchange of e-mail. The confidence trick (if it ever happens) is to get you to ignore the fact that you don't really know who they are or where they are, because you so want what is on offer that you suspend your judgement.
It is also fairly easy to not fall foul of this..
If you follow the rule that unless you can see the bricks and the landlord with your eyeballs, and you don't hand over any money, then the internet can't defraud you.

were going to leave for a 3 week holyday on Monday, and like to lease our flat(3 clean rooms,400 ? in total, old building,ground floor, ideal for 3 persons - perfekt if you are doing a workplacement,study,etc./Washingmachine,TVSet,DVDPlayer,WLAN- if you bring your own laptop & ask the neibourghs for the password).
Super location in Friedrichshain (former East Berlin),which means:
Shopping facilities in less then 10 minutes walk (4 supermarkets, including BioCompany),shopping mall (10min) -5"Spätis" will supply you on sundays or at 3 AM.
Metro(Samariterstrasse,U5,4 min walk),Suburban Train(Frankfurter Allee,circle line,10min) and Tram(Bersarinplatz,M10,10min) enable you to reach Alexanderplatz,Prenzlauer Berg or Kreuzberg in about 15 minutes.
Concerning freetime activities: a couple of small parks just a few streets further,the whole area is also stuffed with bars,cafes and restaurants.The flat is furnished,and you can use everything,but we expect you to be tidy and clean -
and to sit the cat^^.so you should be fond of animals..hes a cute one anyway
